Office Information

Greene County Women’s Center is a satellite office of Washington Women’s Shelter, Inc.  Our office is located at:

43 North Morgan Street                                                                                                                                       Waynesburg, PA 15370.

We are open Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Our hotline number is 724-852-2463 and answers 24 hours a day.

Services

We Offer:

  • Assistance with filing PFA petitions.
  • A weekly support group for anyone directly or indirectly involved with domestic violence.  Please call 724-852-2463 for more information.
  • Domestic violence information and prevention programs for community groups, organizations, and schools. Please call 724-852-2373 to schedule a presentation.
  • 24 hour hotline.
  • Information and referrals.

Volunteers

Greene County Women’s Center has opportunities for you to become a volunteer in the following areas:

  • Direct Service
  • Hotline work
  • Legal advocacy
  • Community events

Training requirements:

  • Attend 45 hours of domestic violence training.
  • Obtain Act 33/34 clearances.
  • Commit to an average of 2 hours per week.

Volunteers are an important part of our agency.  Although we have volunteer opportunities available for whenever you are available, we especially need volunteers who are free to help during the times that our office is open.  If you think that you may be interested in becoming a volunteer, please call us at 724-852-2373.
